The Faculty Board is the highest-level academic body within the faculty that directs, plans, and makes decisions regarding academic operations. It consists of elected faculty members under the chairmanship of the Dean.
Its scope of duties is as follows: The Faculty Board operates in accordance with Article 17 of the Higher Education Law. Its responsibilities include organizing the faculty's educational, research, and publication activities, making decisions and recommendations on these matters.
The Board's duties include:
1. Deciding on the faculty's educational, scientific research, and publication activities, as well as the principles, plans, programs, and academic calendar related to these activities;
2. Electing members to the Faculty Management Board;
3. Performing other duties assigned by laws and regulations.
