Social Contribution Policies
Firat University Faculty of Pharmacy embraces contributing to public health as one of its fundamental missions, thanks to its strong academic staff, scientific expertise, research potential, and sense of social responsibility. In this context, our faculty's social contribution policies can be summarized as follows:
1. Contributing to Public Health
Assessing the community's needs regarding access to medication, healthcare, and treatment, and developing solutions; contributing to health policies at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
2. Education and Awareness
Organizing seminars, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on medication use, rational medication practices, herbal products, and public health issues in the community.
3. Publication and Information
Preparing written, printed, visual, and digital publications in the field of pharmacy and health sciences for the benefit of the community; sharing current scientific information in an understandable manner.
4. Consulting and Implementation
Provide consulting, expert witness, and implementation services to public institutions, the private sector, and individuals in the fields of pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, clinical pharmacy, toxicology, pharmacology, and similar areas.
5. Research and Solution Development
Develop scientific solutions to problems faced by society through research conducted in the fields of drug development, pharmaceutical analysis, public health, environmental health, and health technologies.
6. Social and Cultural Contribution
Contributing to increasing the community's health awareness and quality of life by organizing health-themed social, cultural, sporting, and artistic events.
7. Cooperation and Sustainability
Ensuring that social contribution activities are continuous and sustainable by cooperating with other academic units of the university, health institutions, pharmacists' associations, non-governmental organizations, and local administrations.
