Department of Analytical Chemistry

Analytical chemistry is the department in which organic and inorganic analyses of drugs, drug-like molecules, active ingredients in endemic plants and active ingredients of drugs are performed. These analyses are performed by spectroscopic, electroanalytical, chromatographic, titrimetric, gravimetric and complexometric methods. Based on the results of organic and inorganic analyses, in vivo and in vitro studies are carried out and new types of drug release studies are supported. The Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy carries out joint studies with many departments such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Technology and makes significant contributions to the world of science.
