Department of Clinical Pharmacy

Clinical pharmacy is a field of health science that covers patient care provided by the pharmacist in order to optimally regulate the patient's drug therapy and to maintain health, recovery and disease prevention. Clinical pharmacy covers all services provided by pharmacists in relation to medicines prescribed and used in hospitals, pharmacies, nursing homes, home care services and other areas. The Department of Clinical Pharmacy aims to train pharmacists who can provide pharmaceutical counselling to both health professionals and patients.
